D.S. Born Derrick Hodge now known as D.S. music has been his passion
since a child. The many styles that D.S. has are sure to become
timeless. It is not surprising that D.S. can’t name just one place
when asked where he is from. When you listen to his voice and strong
delivery, you can definitely tell he has been around. However born in
Fort McClellan, Alabama and currently holding it down for the ATL,
D.S. has also stomped in Texas, Louisiana, Germany and Korea- being a
“Military Brat”. But it was in Texas where he discovered that all
that traveling would make for great records. From the Midwest to the
Dirty South D.S. started killing freestyle sessions with the tales of
all he has seen in his life. He prides himself in bringing Hip-Hop
back too its true essence. He is known for having multiple styles as
he as shown through is artist and songwriting abilities. He can give
you that pop record, street or a club banger. D.S. brings real
inspiration through his music to people. Equipped with various arrays
of styles and canny metaphors, he has all the weapons needed to keep
them coming back. “The consumers are like friends, they just want
something they feel good about buying. Like that of Jay-Z, Tupac and
the late Christopher Wallace, D.S. paints a picture with his story
telling. With his variety of songs and dedication he is here to impact
the industry.
